Welcome to Spirit of Hope and Healing

Spirit of Hope and Healing is a specialized consulting and training organization dedicated to equine-assisted work and grief, death, dying, and loss. We support both nonprofit and for-profit organizations with the expertise needed to build ethical, sustainable, and emotionally sound programs.

Spirit of Hope and Healing focuses on equine-assisted counseling, grief and trauma programming, school-based education, and team support for boards, staff, and volunteers, especially those working on the front lines of care and service. Through consulting, workshops, and counseling, we help organizations strengthen their people, protect their mission, and do their work well for the long term.

Spirit of Hope and Healing exists to support those who carry the weight for others—bringing clarity, structure, and compassion to work that truly matters.

At our core, we are an organization that cares deeply about people, those who are grieving, those who are serving, and those who are quietly holding everything together. We understand that this work is not abstract. It is personal. It is emotional. And often, it is exhausting.

We believe education, training, and thoughtful guidance matter just as much as empathy. True care requires skill, boundaries, and ethical grounding, not just good intentions. Our role is to walk alongside organizations and individuals as they learn, grow, and strengthen their capacity to serve with confidence and integrity.

Spirit of Hope and Healing is a place where questions are welcome, complexity is respected, and no one is expected to have all the answers. Whether you are building a program, supporting a community in crisis, or caring for others while carrying your own grief, you are not alone here.

We invite you to learn more, ask questions, and explore how thoughtful, compassionate support, grounded in experience, education, and respect, can make this work sustainable, humane, and deeply meaningful.
